Silico Battles A inter-school computer competition

An inter-school computer competition titled Silico Battles v12.1-2016 was held at the Ahlcon Public School on 3rd and 4th November 2016. This is an event that allows students to engage and make a mark before with accomplished persons in the IT field. It is one of the most sought after computer-related events in Delhi/ NCR. Around 50 schools participated in this competition. Some of these were:

DPS, RK Puram DPS, Mathura Road Somerville School , Noida Ahlcon International School Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar DPS, Indirapuram KR Mangalam, Greater Kailash

Students from our School participated in the following events.

1. Senior Quiz:- Srinidhi Ayyagari (XI) participated in this challenging IT quiz. The event was held for the students of classes IX-XII and the time allotted for this event was 90 minutes.

2. Digital Imaging:- Abhishek Raj (XII) participated in this Photoshop event where the participants had to develop a digital image using images and brushes provided on the spot. They were given access to the software Adobe Photoshop CC. The event was held for students of classes IX-XII and the event duration was 90 minutes.

3. Surprise Event:- Sukrit Gupta of class XI participated in this mystery-laden and challenging event, where participants had to carry their own watches and pens. Questions were based on mental ability and were linked to the field of IT. It was spread over two days. Sukrit Gupta was awarded the 1st position in this event. . 4. Gaming:- Pulkit Goyal (XII) participated in this fun gaming event. The participants were allowed to carry personal external hardware excluding storage devices. It was a two day event. The event was held for the students of classes IX-XII. Pulkit Goyal played really well on Day 1 and qualified to play for Day 2.

All the participants from our School performed well. Kudos to our team!
