Skype classroom for class 1 on Saving the environment -Environment Week 2019

The tiny-tots of class I of The Indian School were delighted to interact on Skype with students of the Chinmaya Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School in Chennai on 17 July 2019. They were assisted by their class teacher Ms Ishleen Kaur and Ms Renuka Krishna Kumar, certified Microsoft educator.

The session commenced on a friendly note with the two sets of children sharing information on their schedules, the weather conditions in Delhi and Chennai, etc.

The proud Indianites showed a model of a POLLUTANT CATCHER prepared by them at School. They eagerly discussed its usage with their counterparts at the other end and also displayed posters on Saving the environment. The two sides deliberated on the various ways of reducing pollution and making the earth greener and cleaner.

As people around the world are confronted with acute water shortage, the concerned learners exchanged notes on the little measures they can each adopt every day to save water.

The children responded in great enthusiasm to their peers and numerous ideas were exchanged on this great global concern.
