Skype interaction with peers in Malaysia for class 3

Online learning and classes are increasingly becoming a vital part of the education system. The students of class 3 at The Indian School engaged in a Skype classroom with Ms Ciffi Faizal Bin Zahinor Moe and her students of the SK Convent Green Lane Palau in Penang, Malaysia, on 26 November 2021.

The virtual session started at 2:15 pm IST with a formal greeting in both Malaysian and Hindi!

The two schools showcased their countries' diversity in terms of religion, culture, race, ethnicity. Historical sites and her rich cultural heritage make India an enchanting tourist destination.

The proud Indianites eagerly shared their treasure trove of monuments with their Malaysian counterparts. They showed images of some of most the well-known monuments like the Taj Mahal, Red Fort, Victoria Memorial, Howrah Bridge etc. On the other hand, Malaysian students shared information on their exotic islands, beaches, quaint towns, heritage sites and adventure spots.

The Malaysian educator was impressed by our students' level of confidence and excellent command of the English language.

The planned half-hour session extended to 45-minutes as the students were reluctant to leave as they happily chatted about their interests and delighted in discovering many common ones!
