Special Assembly and Inter-house Math Quiz for Sadbhavna Diwas- class 5

India is a land of Unity in Diversity. The steep mountain ranges, vast seas, large river-irrigated lands, countless rivers and streams, dark forests and sandy deserts have adorned India with an exceptional diversity. Among our people are numerous races, castes, creeds, religions and languages.

On 18th August 2017, class V hosted a special assembly to observe Sadbhavana Diwas or Harmony Day.

During the assembly, the children spoke about the diversity of India, its importance and description by famous people. A power point presentation was shown to the children. All the children took the Sadbhvana Diwas pledge where they promised to respect each other which would help achieve unity and progress in all aspects of living.

This was followed by an inter-house math quiz organised for classes IV and V. There were three rounds: Multiple Choice Questions Round, Puzzle Round and Fastest Finger First. There were 10 participants from each house. The quiz was conducted in a very interactive way and the teams participated in great enthusiasm. They skillfully answered the questions.
