Special Assembly by class 3E on the Reading Habit

Class III E presented an assembly for classes 1-3 on 2 May, 2015. The topic was We must read .

A short enactment play presented to convey the message caught the attention of the audience. The play was about a family who enjoyed reading together every day. They would go to a park and read with the children. Some naughty children at the park would make fun of them. However a reading competition inspired this group of naughty boys to begin reading too.

The audience seemed receptive and watched in silence. The students on stage were confident and seemed to enjoy the roles assigned. Books can be our best friends and others including short poems were presented by the children reiterating the importance of reading. The assembly concluded with a soulful rendition of the School song.
