Special assembly by class 6E on the value.of Gratitude

"Gratitude is the art of turning life’s raindrops into pearls of joy, and every ordinary day into a festival of the heart."

On the crisp morning of 11August 2025, the students of class 6E gathered in the assembly area with hearts full of thankfulness and voices ready to celebrate the noble virtue of gratitude.

The assembly began with a warm welcome by Naina Sharma who spoke about the timeless value of appreciating the blessings in our lives and the people who make them possible. The audience was then treated to a soulful group song, “Ae Maalik Tere Bande Hum”, sung in perfect harmony. The song’s stirring melody and heartfelt lyrics reminded everyone of the importance of humility, thankfulness, and living a life guided by noble values.

Following the song, the students presented a beautiful skit on the theme of Gratitude. Through relatable situations drawn from daily life — from thanking parents, for their love and sacrifices, to appreciating friends, teachers, and even Mother Nature, — the skit brought alive the idea that gratitude is more than just words; it is an attitude that enriches both the giver and the receiver. The performances were heartfelt, sprinkled with gentle humour, and left a lasting impression on the audience.

The assembly concluded with Myra Wason’s wonderful note, encouraging everyone to practice gratitude not only in grand gestures but in small, everyday moments. The message was clear: gratitude is the simplest yet most powerful way to add joy to life and build stronger bonds in our community.
