Our festivals serve as windows of our culture and tradition. The importance of siblings and their role in the family contributes greatly to a happy and positive family and in turn the community.
On Wednesday, 14 August 2019, Pre-primary Gemini presented a special assembly on Rakshabandhan, the festival which celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters.
[gallery link="file" columns="2"]The assembly was conducted in the School auditorium. The children presented a skit which demonstrated that girls and boys are equal and capable of protecting each other. Neither is superior to the other. Later in the classroom the girls and boys equally tied rakhi on each others wrists in great merriment.
The assembly concluded with an endearing rendition of the song- Bhai bahen ka pyaar hai rakshabandhan and a dance performance on traditional rakhi songs to complete the festivity.
