Special assembly on Cleanliness by classes 1, 2 and 3.
On 4 September, 2013 Classes I, II and III presented a special assembly on Cleanliness.
Our main objective in conducting such an assembly, was to instil the importance of Cleanliness in our daily lives and how children can integrate the same in their habits.
Class I presented two poems on how to look after personal hygiene. A group of ten children recited two poems on the subject and five children dramatised the same on stage.
Class II presented a skit on why the cleaning of our surroundings is important and how we can achieve it. The play was based on an imaginary story of Chocoland being littered by children and the effect of this on the trees there. The children seemed drawn and they listened intently.

Class III presented a skit on the importance of personal hygiene in our lives and how it can be maintained through desirable activities. The play depicted how a child kept falling sick due to inadequate hygiene. In the bargain, the good practices were conveyed.
All the performances were appreciated and they were reinforced in the classroom through class discussion on what they had learnt from the assembly and the changes which they would make in line with what they learnt.to
