Special Assembly on Colours by Pre-primary Vega

Pre-Primary Vega presented a special assembly on 19 August 2015 on the topic, 'Colours'. Parth Takkar led the assembly by giving a brief introduction on colours followed by his classmates who, by turn spoke about the different colours and objects from daily life that things relate to these colours. The children came forward with attractive headgear and carried 'real' objects to convey 10 colours. It was a great delight to watch the children confidently speak their lines independently on the mike.

Rhythm was added with the children singing a poem on colours. They vigorously sang out If you are wearing red. The assembly concluded with a question-answer round, planned as a game, Tippy-tippy-tap an apple is . Here the teacher took objects out of a bag and asked the children to identify the colour of each object. The children who answered correctly were encouraged with a toffee! Evidently the children were very animated! It was a good learning experience for the children where every child was involved. The appreciation received offered a great morale-builder.
