India is known as the land of festivals and celebrations. Dussehra is a religious festival unique in its significance as it celebrates the triumph of good over evil, dharma over adharma and truth over lies.
The occasion is also known as Vijayadashami or Durgotsav, as this day commemorates the victory of Goddess Durga over the demon, Mahishasur.
The young ones of Pre Primary Gemini hosted a special assembly to mark the auspicious occasion on 28th September 2022 to reinforce the timeless values that come with it.

A skit from the Ramayana enraptured the audience as they saw their peers in costume, portraying the characters from the great epic. The children who enacted the roles were perfect in their poise, confidence and expression.
A mock fight between our young Rama and Ravana ended with the victory of good over evil. Dance performances followed to rejoice the return of Lord Ram from exile.
