Dusshera or Vijayadashami, is the culmination of nine days of Navratri celebrations. It is the festival that marks the killing of Ravana by Lord Rama and the triumph of good over evil.
Students of PP Vega presented a special assembly on the occasion of Dussehra on 25th September, 2017. It aimed to reinforce the timeless values of brotherhood and tolerance as taught by the tale of Dussehra amongst our children.
[gallery link="file" order="DESC" columns="2"]The assembly began with a welcome by Vedaanshi Sharma and Aashna Dhingra. This was followed by a skit about Ravana being killed by Lord Rama. These characters were played by Sauban Ahmad and Vadaansh, while the roles of Lakshman, Sita and Hanuman were played by Devyaansh Kapur , Avika and Rayan Saini respectively. The special appearance of Ravana in the guise of a sadhu was played by Anhad Singh.
Each little actor delivered to perfection. The dialogue delivery was a delight and the countenance was one of complete confidence!
