Special Assembly on Gender Equality by class 4E
Students of class IV-E presented a special assembly on Gender Equality on 2 August, 2013 with the participation of each in great excitement and fervour .
This very sensitive issue of gender equality has always been close to our hearts and therefore we like to ingrain the value early in a fun way. And what better an occasion than Raksha Bandhan?
The class presented a short skit which about a little girl who is repeatedly rebuked by her brother because she harbours a dream for herself. By and by her brother realises his wrong and is overcome with remorse for what he has done. The story concludes ith the brother pledging to offer dignity and respect as equals to all women.

Both brother and sister tie rakhis on each other's wrists to establish their relationships as equals and equally and mutually offering regard for each other.
A choral recitation by the class on the theme, namely, equality for the girl child concluded the assembly.
