Special assembly on Karnataka

Learning about Indias diverse cultures and her states is an important part of building stronger roots.

Students of class VE presented a special assembly on Karnataka the land of Mysore Pak and Carnatic music. On 15th December, 2017, young Mugdha briefed the assembly about the history of the state. Next her classmates, Anant, Aurosmriti, Tia, Prabhleen and Ram used a power point presentation to acquaint their peers with the civilization, culture, language, festivals, dresses and heritage sites of Karnataka.

Geetikas meticulous effort in creating the PPT was evident from the detailed work it showcased.

The Kannada melody, Krishna Deva Rai echoed through the auditorium as the students sang it in gusto. This was followed by an ethnic dance presentation by the students depicting the different hues of Karnataka.

All the students and teachers in the audience were very receptive and appreciative of the assembly.
