Special Assembly on the Theme of Water
Our young learners of Bal Vatika 1 Delphini presented a vibrant and educational assembly centred around the theme of Water on 18 September 2026. Thoughtfully curated for age-appropriate experiential learning, the presentation integrated cheerful rhymes, an expressive role-play, foundational facts, and spirited dance movements to explore the significance of water in daily life.
The assembly opened with an introduction highlighting that water is a vital natural resource essential for the survival of all living beings. Setting an enthusiastic tone, the children recited thematic rhymes with expressive actions and clear diction, introducing fundamental concepts joyfully. This was followed by a heartwarming role-play titled “Thirsty Friends," wherein the children depicted mutual care and empathy while delivering a clear message about the necessity of water conservation and the importance of never wasting a single drop. Connecting classroom learning with everyday routines, the little speakers confidently shared various domestic and natural uses of water, such as drinking, cooking, bathing, washing, and nurturing plants.
To nurture scientific curiosity, the presenters shared three simple environmental facts: the human body needs water to stay healthy, HO covers most of Earth's surface, and rainwater is a natural source of fresh water. The assembly concluded on a high-energy note with a lively dance performance set to “Do the Ocean Jam", filling the auditorium with smiles, rhythm, and cheerful movement.
Reinforcing the central maxim, “Water is precious. Do not waste it. The presentation, which encouraged participants to "Save every drop of water every day," nurtured responsible conservation habits, built early public-speaking confidence, and strengthened the children's collaborative and expressive skills.
