Special assembly on Work Habits by class 2C

We believe in laying an early foundation for our children and activities are designed around achieving this.

Students of class 2C conducted a special assembly on a carefully chosen topic ' work habits' to learn their value in daily life. As customary, the assembly began by invoking the blessings of the Almighty. Nuha Khan was our anchor of the day. Students came up on stage, by turn to recite verses describing good work habits that all of us should inculcate. Flash cards on the topic were held aloft by the young speakers for easy recall.

The students then sang a hymn Happiness is the Lord, which spoke of staying happy as one of the most important habits of life; the other good habits only supplement this habit. The assembly was followed by prize distribution to award the winning participants at Jugalbandi 2017, the inter school Indian folk music competition conducted by The Foundation School. The students received certificates from their head teacher, Ms. Neena Maini. A fitting finale was offered by the prize winning choir who took the prize at Jugalbandi 2017- it sang once more, in house, for their delighted Schoolmates!
