Spring Dales School, Pusa Road organised a mathematics event

Spring Dales School, Pusa Road organised a mathematics event Shri R.S. Niamat Rai Rajpal Memorial Contest of Investigatory Projects in Mathematics on 7th December, 2017. Ayushi Verma and Gitansh Satija of class XI participated in this event which was divided in two rounds. In the 1st round, participants were asked to research on any interesting topic in the field of mathematics. The research papers were to be submitted within a given period of time. 11 teams were to be shortlisted for the final round, based on the depth of their research work, originality of the content, sources referred and conceptual clarity. Our schools team took the topic INFINITY. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"] About 60 schools participated in the 1st round and our team was selected in the top 11, for the final round. In the final round, the teams had to defend their research before the judges and the other participants. The presentation time allotted was 10 minutes, and the presenting teams had to answer a maximum of 2 interjections by the audience. All teams had quality content and wonderful presentations.
