Students of classes 9-11 participate in a Theatre Workshop

On 6 May 2026, 5 students participated in Abhivyakti 4.0, an engaging and enriching theatre workshop held at Tagore International School. The event offered students a valuable platform to explore diverse forms of theatre while enhancing their creativity, communication and performance skills.

Adya Ram (XI-E) and Nyasa Sharma (XI-E) participated in the Proscenium Theatre workshop, where they actively engaged with improvisation, character-building and performance exercises. The sessions enabled them to deepen their understanding of teamwork, expression and the art of storytelling.

Ankit Jana (X-A) took part in Musical Theatre under the guidance of Mr Hasnan Ali Khan. Through interactive sessions, he explored how music, movement and performance work together to evoke emotions and establish meaningful connections with audiences.

Ipshita Mehra (XI-E) participated in Nukkad Natak, where she gained hands'-on experience in voice modulation, audience interaction and the powerful role of theatre in creating social awareness and driving meaningful conversations.

Bismanpreet Kaur (IX-B) participated in Realistic Drama under the mentorship of Mr Avinash Singh. Through focused practice and character portrayal, she developed important theatrical skills such as acting, stage presence, discipline and self-confidence.

The workshop proved to be an enriching and memorable learning experience for all the participants. It not only strengthened their theatrical knowledge and stagecraft, but also fostered confidence, creativity, collaboration and self-expression. The programme culminated in stage performances by the participants, where students showcased their learning and received enthusiastic appreciation from mentors and audiences alike.
