On 30th July, 2015 10 students from classes 9 to 12 participated in an inter school Sufi music competition held at St. Thomas School, Mandir Marg. The students were accompanied by their teachers. Mr. Sanjeev Chaudhary and Ms. Parul Singh. 15 schools from Delhi participated in the competition. The genre was was Sufi song as a group.
[gallery link="file" columns="2"]Our group presented a soulful rendition of A.R. Rehman's Arziyan which came in for a very vigorous applause! The students who took part in the competition were Shivangini Sharma-IX, Milanpreet Kaur-IX, Gaurav Prasad-X, Bedanto Sen-X, Arunima Palit - X, Isha Kanojia-X, Sanatan Srivastava-X, Chinmaya Iyer-XI, Anchit Thakur-XI and Aueshic Das-XI. To the great delight of all present, the judges presented two songs! Our school took the third prize and each of our students received an individual bronze medal with a certificate.
