The Indian School took part in the "#tagGED" event, hosted by The Tagore International School on 30 August 2024. The event featured four categories: innovation, social welfare, entrepreneurship, and robotics, all under the theme, "Celebrating Our Roots, Empowering Our Future".
In the innovation category, team “Envision”, comprising Aarush Mahajan (XII), Aaryan Gupta (XII), Akshit Panwar (XII), and Vansh Sharma (X), developed a device to assist the visually impaired in navigating their surroundings, securing the First Position and a 10,000 cash prize. In the entrepreneurship category, team “Comfort Crusaders”, consisting of Jaslin Kaur (XII), Khushal Bansal (XII), Gautam Asija (XII), and Neeyati Suri (XII), proposed "Period Peace Package," a start-up focussed on sustainable menstrual care and women empowerment. In the robotics event, Avika (VI) and Aarav Bansal (X) showcased a robot equipped with a 4-axis mechanical arm to complete an obstacle course. In the social welfare category, “Team Tech Titans”, comprising Harshil Jain (XII), Prabhleen Kaur (XII), Mansha Dwivedi (XII), and Ronak Singh (XII), presented "Densify," a traffic management system, designed to reduce air and noise pollution using sensors. The event offered valuable learning experiences for all participants.
