Teacher workshop on innovative teaching tools
On October 4, 2024, our teachers, Ms.Suman Aswal and Ms Akanksha Budhiraja attended the Foresight Summit 2024. The summit showcased innovative educational initiatives aimed at improving teaching and learning through technology and interactive tools.
A key highlight of the event was a knowledge session led by Ms. Smita Devnand, co-founder, LEAD Foundation, who discussed the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023. She emphasised the importance of implementing transformational changes in the classroom, focussing on competency-based learning and assessments that promote understanding and application. Ms. Devnand also spoke about the significance of multi-modal learning and how teachers can gradually release responsibility to students through thoughtfully designed lesson plans, fostering independence and engagement.
Another insightful session was one that introduced the audience to the Techbook, an innovative educational tool. The session elaborated upon its key features, including augmented reality, personalised practice, and independent learning. Publications under Pinnacle, were also discussed, providing educators with a comprehensive overview of the resources available.
The summit featured interactive booths showcasing programs like Code AI and Pinnacle++, offering hands'-on experiences with modern educational tools. These resources are designed to create immersive and adaptive learning environments for students.
