Tech-350

On 16 December, 2014, a group of students of class XI left excited and nervous, to participate in Tech-350 at Sanskriti School.

Nikhil Vinayak, Ayush , and Rishabh Kharyal participated in the ROBOTICS event, Anushka Raheja and Danish Safdar in the Group Discussion, Sahil Grover in the Gaming and Nimisha Gupta with Ishita Pahwa in Symposium.

It was a great experience for all of us. We (Nimisha & Ishita) secured the second position in the SYMPOSIUM. The event comprised of two rounds-the preliminary and the final round.

Every school was offered a different topic and our topic was Particles. We were expected to write a short piece thesis and upon selection, were expected to present a power point presentation alongwith five other schools that also got selected. We were also expected to face interjection from the judges and other participants. It was a tight fight between Blue Bells, Delhi Public School and Sanskriti and us!

In the process of preparing for the competition we gained familiarity with ' Particles' which in itself is a very vast topic. Viewing the different power-point presentations, we were introduced to several different theories of Physics and Chemistry which gave us a closer understanding of the subjects. We also came across some amazing areas such as cosmology, string theory, quantum theory etc. The experience was indeed extremely educative. Nimisha Gupta and Ishita Pahwa, 11B.
