Technosys- an intra school tech symposium

On 30th November 2017, the first Technosys Intra-School Tech Symposium was hosted by T.I.M.E - The Indianite Media Experts of The Indian School, to motivate our young technocrats to invent, innovate and create new technologies that not only make our lives easy but also make this world a better place to live in.

Technosys was the collective initiative of Tanmaye Kohli, Sarim Hussain, Gitansh Satija, Samarth Saxena and Yash Lamba with the guidance of their teacher, Mr. Alok Mishra. Pulkit Goyal, our alumnus ( 2016 batch) was invited to judge the Group Discussion.

The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of over 70 students from classes 8 to 11. The students took part in various events as follows.

Group Discussion A two fold discussion was conducted on happening topics of technology. The motion for the final round was Future of Artificial Intelligence.

Photography Participants were assigned the task of capturing the world through their lens on topics given to them.

Quiz The quiz was a logic and reasoning based event where teams had to go through 2 rounds before being selected for the final round. 4 teams made it to the finals.

Surprise This was a virtual treasure hunt where participants had to go through 5 encrypted levels to win the prize.

Web Designing The participants had to design a website which had to be attractive and user friendly.

Coding This was a problem solving and programming event where participants had to overcome the problems of even the slightest complications in order to win.

Video Editing Participants were given clips and had to make a movie of them.

Audio Editing The participants were required to make a remix of the acapella and music clips that were provided to them.

The event witnessed an outstanding exposition of talent and creativity, as young and aspiring IT enthusiasts displayed their Tech-knowledge in the various challenges. The winners were felicitated with awards by Ms. Tania Joshi, Principal, The Indian School.
