On 3rd October, 2020, as a part of the Gandhi Jayanti celebrations, a group of students enjoyed an interactive story session organised by the Khwaja Ahmed Abbas Memorial Trust. The session, named, "Teen Kahaniyan: Halat Ka Aaina" was conducted online at 6.30 pm. The stories reflected the protagonist, Abbass passion for an India where humanity or insaniyat is the overarching religion. They urged us to introspect about our counry and its ideals today.
The trust is named in the memory of the great filmmaker of yore, K. A. Abbas, who believed deeply in the path of Gandhiji's and wrote stories on the period of India under the Raj . The three stories that were told to us was Khaddar Ka Kafan by Chavi Jain, The Miracle of Prajapur by Zeba Ali and Diwali ke Teen Diye by Shiraz Hussain. The students who attended the enriching session were as follows. The teacher in charge was Ms Sunita Singh.
