Thanksgiving at Akshardham

The students of class XII visited the Akshardham Temple on 28th November 2018. They were accompanied by Ms. Deepali Gupta, senior sports teacher. It was a trip of thanksgiving for a long and purposeful School life and one to seek blessings for a successful fruition of the latter in the imminent board exams.

'Akshardham' means abode of God. The temple complex is a spiritual and cultural campus dedicated to devotion, learning and harmony. Spiritual messages, vibrant devotional traditions and heritage architecture all are echoed in the complexs vast layout.

We attended an animatronics show on the life and works of Swami Narayana (the deity for whom the temple was made) and other figures of history such as Panini and Aryabhatta.

The trip concluded with the boat ride in the complex after which we left for School. The group of 21 students reached School at 1:30 pm.
