The Art of looking- art workshop for teachers

"What is Art, but a way of seeing?"~ Saul Bellow

Flow India organised an exclusive Art Walk for educators on the 20th April 2017, from 2-4 pm at the National Gallery of Modern Art, India Gate. Teachers of the Art and Social Science departments attended the workshop.

Titled "The Art of looking" , the walk took observers on a sensorial journey through time, exploring the diverse genres of modern Indian art. By looking closely and as a group, the artworks came alive and revealed a layered socio-cultural dimension to be identified, through a stimulating dialogue. Through the walk, teachers observed how art can be viewed from different perspectives and can create so many thoughts in the viewer's mind.

Team of Flow India planned the event in a very well conceived way. It was a walk-n- talk show where many of the participating educators were involved and continuously interacting on their views about the art they observed.
