The Chairman interacts with classes 5 and 6 on creating an awareness for Cleanliness

Better keep yourself clean and bright; you are the window through which you must see the world, said George Bernard Shaw.

On Wednesday 10th July and Friday 18th July, students of classes VI and V respectively had the opportunity of an interaction with Chairman, Mr. Prafull Goradia about the significance of cleanliness. As in the past, Mr. Goradia began with a brain-storming session with the children seeking their views on the importance of cleanliness in life in general and at School. Sir asked the students if they have noticed a difference in the way the surroundings are, if they have visited a western country our country. Several students exclaimed how they found other nations so much cleaner! The reason for the same they attributed, to the fact that ordinary people have no domestic help and have do all the chores themselves. No wonder everyone becomes responsible to put in their bit to keep the surroundings clean. So, it followed that it is important for children to develop this habit at an early age.

Mr. Goradia asked the children about their observation on cleanliness and its maintenance at our School. The students were forthright in submitting the reasons for School being clean or sometimes why it wasn't. They also offered proposals for improving the same. Some felt that we ourselves should get motivated to also lend a hand so that everything remains spotlessly clean. The students also spontaneously volunteered to help with cleaning tasks required at School. The list of tasks were noted down by the teachers.

The enthusiasm was infectious and the children readily submitted their recommendations to help keeping School always sparkling clean.
