An inter-school competition titled Technasia-2020 was conducted by Ahlcon Public School on 15 December 2020 online.
The aim of Technasia-2020 was to provide an opportunity to young innovators to utilise their STEM skills to address several UN Sustainable Development Goals in a variety of events Arduino Exploration, Game Changers, Mission Doodle and Innovision. The Fest was themed around Making a Difference. The host school gave an opportunity to participants to integrate their technical knowledge with its practical applicability in a hands-on experience. 38 schools participated in the competition.
12 students from our School participated in various events at the competition. These are as below.
1. Arduino Based Exploration: Amrita Arun of class IX and Soumya Jain of class IX participated in this event in which students had to prepare an Arduino Based Project (prototype/working) on the themes given to them.
2. Game Charger 1: Aarav Bansal and Rishima Dubey of class VI participated in the event where students had to create a single or multiplayer 2D /3D game using any game designing platform- Unity, Unreal, Game Maker, Scratch, Kodu etc.
3. Game Changer 2: Haritma and Sejal Gupta of class IX participated in this category. Students were asked to create a single or multiplayer 2D /3D game.
4. Mission Doodle: Akshat and Sharanya of class XI participated in this event. Students were asked to design their own space station using any 3D designing software- AutoCAD, Tinker CAD etc.
5. Web App Design Category1: Ayaan Ahmed and Shraddha of class VI participated in the event. Students had to create a Web App / Mobile App on the theme given to them using a platform of their choice.
6. Web App Design Category 2: Karanbir Singh Pahwa of class XI and Gunveer Singh of class XII participated in the event which was was for the senior students where they had to create a Web App / Mobile App on the theme given to them using a platform of their choice.
