Top honour at inter school cyber security competition at DPS RK Puram

A team of students from The Indian School participated in the DIGEX Cyber Security Competition held at Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, on 23 May 2026. The prestigious event brought together young technology enthusiasts from various schools and provided an engaging platform to explore cybersecurity, digital innovation, and emerging technologies.

The programme commenced with a series of insightful workshops and interactive sessions conducted by experts from leading organisations, including Nikon and Canon. These sessions offered participants valuable perspectives on cybersecurity, digital safety, technological advancements and the rapidly evolving digital landscape. The Indian School students enthusiastically participated in a wide range of competitions. Avika Bansal (VIII-E), Ish Jadwani (VIII-D), Ipshita Meher (XI-E) and Arnavjit Singh (X-E) showcased their creativity in the “Pixelate Photography” event. Ishita Kapoor (XII-C) and Sakshi Dwivedi (XII-E) participated in the “Creative Ad Making” competition, while Rishietdeep Singh (XII-A) and Saniya Khurana (XII-B) competed in the “Surprise Event”. Students, including Anurag Massey, Pragun Bhola, Simar Arora and Aadhya from Classes X, XI and XII respectively, also represented the school in events such as “Phishing Phantoms”, “ReconX” and “Casmistic”. The highlight of the competition was the outstanding achievement of Unnabh Dasmahapatra (XI-A) and Tanmay Virmani (X-A), who secured the First Position in the “Phishing Phantoms (Cyber Phishing)” event.

The competition proved to be an enriching learning experience, exposing students to contemporary developments in cybersecurity while encouraging innovation, collaboration and critical thinking. The event further inspired participants to explore future opportunities in technology and digital security.
