Top honour in inter school IT competition
Our School participated in Force 2022, an IT based competition, hosted by Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, on 4 and 5 November 2022. The theme of the event was 'Retrofuturism'. Retrofuturism is a term used for a movement in the creative arts showing the influence of depictions of the future produced in an earlier era.
Schools of Delhi and NCR participated in this technology event. The objective of this fest was to give an opportunity to young minds, to explore, design and learn together. The annual event comprised 8 competitions. These were stimulating and offered a good platform to students, to showcase their skills.
The details of the events are as follows.
TRIVIAL PURSUIT- Samridh Atri and Ohaid of class IX participated in this quiz. The students' knowledge about futuristic concepts in technology, virtual reality and augmented reality, and brands was tested in this competition.
TAKE DI-BAIT- Sejal Gupta and Anthariksh Nayyar of class XI participated in this 3 round group discussion event. The agenda was based on the theme Retrofuturism.
SHARK TANK- Mannat Suri and Manya Arora of class XII presented their ideas in the form of a PowerPoint presentation and a speech, on the topic 'Retrofuturism', focusing on gadgets of the future.
CHANGE X- Neil of class III took part in this competition where contestants had to dress up as symbols of futuristic technology.
INK BOX- Aaishee Sen Gupta of class V participated in this MS Paint event, where participants came up with innovative designs based on the theme The Future of the earth.
SNAP IT- Manan Arora of class XII, was a part of this photography competition, in which participants were required to take photographs inside the school and submit both unaltered and colourised photos based on retrofuturism.
APP DEVELOPMENT- Participants in this event included Samridh Atri of class IX and Amrita Arun and Aadya Garg of class XI. Here, they were required to create an app based on the theme provided.
POWERFLOW- Shaurya Fulfagar of class VIII secured the First Position in the PowerPoint event, 'POWERFLOW'. The winning entry was based on the theme of the event, namely 'Retofuturism'.
All the participants from our School exuded confidence and curiosity. The event was indeed an enriching learning experience for them.
