Top honours at DoE Zonal level inter school competitions

Zonal level events are organised by the Directorate of Education. The Indian School participated in six event categories during this year’s zonal level competitions. The students vied with 45 schools across the zone, participating in diverse categories such as Poster Making, Slogan Writing, Science Toon, Science Quiz, Science Debate, and Science Exhibition.

POSTER MAKING/SLOGAN WRITING (November 21, 2023): In the Science Slogan Writing competition, Mansha Dwivedi (XI) won the Third Prize for her slogan on the topic – “Plant trees, plant life”. In the Science Poster Design competition, Naina Sharma (IV) secured the Second Prize for her poster on the topic, ‘Awareness on Environmental Pollution.’

SCIENCE DEBATE (November 23, 2023): Sejal Gupta (XII A) and Akshita Gupta (XII E) actively engaged in the Science Zonal Level Debate. The discourse revolved around the theme, ‘Artificial Intelligence: Future of Technology and Humanity’. An exceptional performance earned them the First Position in the category, and they are now poised to represent our School at the central level on December 8, 2023.

SCIENCE EXHIBITION ( December 4, 2023): Rewa Upadhyay and Hardik Ahlawat (XI B) actively contributed to the senior-level science exhibition, specialising in the Health category. The event unfolded at GGSSS Pushp Vihar on December 4, 2023. Their passionate endeavour earned them the First Position.

The zonal events served as an exceptional platform, providing our students with a remarkable exposure to diverse challenges and opportunities. Anticipating a continuation of such enthusiastic participation next year, we look forward to witnessing the ongoing cultivation of skills and knowledge.
