Top honours at Sanskriti School tech fest
The science of today is the technology of tomorrow.
A team of talented students of The Indian School actively participated in COSMIC- 350, an inter school science event organised by Sanskriti School, Chanakyapuri, on 8 October 2021.
The event consisted of 8 exciting online competitions:
-Question the Answer
-Ideation
-The Final Stretch
-Painting the Words
-The Laughter Centre
-SDG Trivia
-Let your Music Speak
Maitreyi Purandare and Aditi Mishra of class XI-B secured the First Position in SDG Trivia. In this category, the contestants tested their knowledge of the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The qualifying round involved answering rapid-fire trivia questions about the SDGs. In the qualifier, the two Indianites tied for first place and moved on to the second level. In this round, they produced an essay within half an hour on sustainable development with innovative solutions.

Anvika Narang (X-A) and Bhavya Gupta (IX-B) bagged the Third Position in the event Painting the Words. In this integrated contest of colours and self-composition, the young artists brought alive the poetry of budding poets! This event brought together painters and poets in a magnificent display of verse and its visual interpretation.
Aahana Bhalla, Aditya Kandpal, Anush Malik and Yashmita Kumari of class IX bagged the Second Position in The Final Stretch. In this sub-event, the participants joined separate meet links according to their respective schools. The competition required them to answer a series of questions on Astronomy and Physics in our daily lives. It aimed at encouraging scientific temper among students by testing their knowledge, creativity and innovation.
The students enjoyed participating in this exciting event. The experience spurred their scientific skills and knowledge.
