We would like to throw some light on the events in which our School participated and secured the title of Overall Winners.

SCIENCE QUIZ: More than 25 schools participated in the quiz covering topics from both Science and Mathematics. The top 6 teams qualified for an onstage final round. The event became more competitive as two teams were to be eliminated after 3 levels. Our School secured third position.

CROSSWORD AND PROBLEM SOLVING: This consisted of a set of Math questions- both concepts and terminologies. Participants were expected to answer them in a given time limit. Our School took the third position at this.

MODEL DISPLAY: Participants were asked to build a model portraying any basic scientific concept. Our school exhibited the hologram. We secured the third position here.

DEMONSTRATION: Participating students were shown 5 models of science and math. They were expected to explain the concepts upon which the models were based. We were able to answer all and hence, secured the first prize!

AD-ACT: The event consisted of 4 participants who were to enact a short ad that attempted to market a product with a scientific base. Our School secured the third prize in this event.

CHEM CANVAS AND TREASURE HUNT: The latter was a science-based treasure hunt. In the preliminary round, participants were given a set of 5 questions. We qualified in the first round but couldnt get to the second. It was named treasure hunt as students were supposed to answer questions based on clues. Our School didnt take any position in these two events but we definitely, gave tough competition to the other participating schools! The contribution of the students in these two events can also not be undermined as their results were counted in the overall performance of the school.

Rhythm Narang and Sukrit Gupta (XI A).
