The Indian School takes immense pride in celebrating the remarkable artistic accomplishments of Neeraj Shafee (VIII), who brought laurels to the institution through his exceptional talent and technical finesse in the Junior Level Boys’ Category across prestigious competitive platforms.
Demonstrating exemplary proficiency in pencil and charcoal sketching on a half-imperial cartridge sheet, Neeraj secured First Position in the District-Level Drawing Competition (2026–27), organised at Manava Bharti India International School on 11 August 2026. Adding another prestigious feather to his cap, he went on to clinch the Second Position in the Zonal-Level Drawing Competition 2026, held at Ambience Public School on 21 August 2026. The two-and-a-half-hour competitive sessions tested the young artists’ imaginative depth, tonal mastery, and composition under rigorous time constraints. Eminent artists Tanmay Indrani Dey and Sana Afreen adjudicated the submitted artworks and commended the participants for their visual expression and thematic maturity.
Neeraj’s stellar podium finishes, at both the district and zonal levels stand as a testament to his dedication, creative vision, and sustained passion for fine arts.
