Top laurels at inter school IT fest
Matt Mullenweg rightly said, Technology is best when it brings people together.
Our School participated in SHRITEQ, an inter-school competition organised by the Shri Ram School, Moulsari, on 11 and 12 October 2022. The event forITenthusiasts was an opportunity to showcase technological prowess, innovation and practical learning.The events in different domains welcomed participants from almost 50 schools across Delhi-NCR.
Quiz
Junior Level: Samarth Sovani, Sehaj Singh and Devansh of VC,participated in thequiz.
Middle Level: Aarav Bansal VIIIE, Shaurya Fulfagar VIIIA and Manan Virmani VIIID, participated in thequizand qualified for the semi-final.
Senior Level: Samarth Atri IX A, Ohaid Khan IXC and Shashwat Krishna XA, represented our School in the senior category.
The quiz for all the three categories was relating tothe fields of technology, science, logic and reasoning.The students got an opportunity to portray their technological and analytical competence.
Web Design
Junior Category: Shaurya Fulfagar VIIIA and Arunabh Rakshi VIIIC, participated in the web designing competition. Participants were to create and design websites with templates. These were based on real world applications.
Senior Category: Ekveer Sahoo XIA and Aarush Mahajan XA secured theFirst Position for Web Designing based on real world application.
Imageination:Kushgraand Aarush, VIIIC, participated in this image editing event. The participants were given a lead and they were to edit the image using their best imagination.
Gaming:Om Saini XIE, Pranay Sethi IXD, participated in the gaming event. It gave an opportunity to enthusiasts to display their passion and love for gaming.
Code Combat:Aviral Tandon, XIB,participated in the programming event. It was an online event.The programming language used was Python and tested the problem-solving and coding abilities of the participants.
Hackathon:The Indianite tech teamcomprising Ekveer Sahoo XIA, Sejal Gupta XIA, Chinmay Mishra XI E, Shamit Sharma XIC and Aarush Mahajan XA, secured theSecond PositioninHackathonfor their presentation of their product 'Heartly' that detects abnormal heartbeats in the Shark Tank style.

It was a great learning experience for the students as it helped enhance their IT skills and widened their horizons in the subject.
