Tree Planting Drive by School Eco Club.

When we plant a tree, we contribute to building up the eco-system. To communicate this point, we, at the Eco Club, undertook a Plantation Drive on 15th July 2016 on the School premises.

Students of class VI were explained the importance of tree plantation, the techniques of planting trees and how to nurture them. Several saplings of the Chlorophytum were planted. This plant is particularly useful as it absorbs carbon monoxide and formaldehyde from the environment.

Students displayed great enthusiasm as they dug out the earth to carefully place the saplings.

The event served a dual purpose and provided both education and entertainment to our students. Besides this, the activity also added to to the nature around us.
