The 24th edition of the Delhi Book Fair was held between August 25 September 2, 2018 at Pragati Maidan. The fair was organised in association with Federation of Indian Publishers.
Book fairs have a great role to play in promoting the reading habit amongst people of all age groups. It is keenly awaited by students, teachers, scholars, authors, intellectuals, librarians and book lovers.

In order to excite and encourage our children to read and learn about new writers and their books, we take the children to the book fair every year. On Monday, 27 August 2018, the children of class VIII accompanied by 2 of their teachers visited the Delhi Book Fair.
We reached a little early to avoid the rush. The kids were very happy to do so because that helped them in getting good discounts! As soon as we entered, the children were elated to see a vast panorama of books. There were books on a wide range of subjects like fiction, fantasy, biographies, cookery, popular science, religion, art etc. Various reference books were also available. Many of the students bought books whilst others browsed.
