The excited chatter of students reverberated through the hallways of Pragati Maidan that were lined with continuous stalls of booksellers. It was a cold winter morning on 12 January 2018, when we set out on a School trip to the book fair.
Books of diverse genres and languages entreated us from the shelves, as we, book lovers and ardent readers of class VII, sighted the abundance. A wide variety of books excited us but also left us confused because we couldnt decide which books to purchase and which ones to leave! The books ranged from mind-boggling science to boundlessly imaginative fiction.
[gallery link="file" order="DESC"]Each title seemed better than the previous. The books from different countries were the Stars of the Day. Each country looked upon fiction and reality with a different and unique point of view. The Nepali book stall was one of the most interesting stalls, as it had a display of books from the Netherlands, Iran, Iraq and many more countries.
After a shopping spree at the book fair, we had a hearty meal outside the hall. We enjoyed each and every moment spent at the book fair and every rupee that we spent we spent buying titles we saw.
