The session commenced with Dr. Nagpal interacting with the peer educators and discussing the areas where peer pressure is observed. He also suggested different ways of dealing with the same. Students who acted as Peer Educators in the last academic year spoke about the roles they played in their schools in order to deal with the different issues. Students showed a lot of enthusiasm when Dr. Nagpal discussed life skills with them. He appreciated the life skills mentioned by the participants and encouraged them to do better.

Next the audience was addressed by Mrs. Chauhan. She began with an ice breaking activity. She played a song on happiness and asked all the students to sing along with her. This made for a light moment that was eagerly awaited! After that she randomly divided the students into 9 groups. Each group was given a life skill and they had to present it as a role-play. This type of division gave an opportunity to the peer educators to mingle with each other.

The presentation of each group was preceded by a play staged by the members of Paigam, the Dramatics Society of our School, and the students of Dev Samaj Model School. Aryan Singh, Dhruv Rathi, Arya Khanna and Harshit Verma( XI-B), Kush Kalra and Vidit Sharma (XI-C), Pratyaksh Epari (XII-C), Mayank Ahuja (XI-E), Hemangi Srivastava and Rishabh (X-B) represented our School. The presentation of each group reflected team work and a clear depiction of each life skill.

Students felt delighted to be a part of such a workshop and look forward to the rest of the workshops.
