The basketball contingents of The Indian School showcased commendable athletic prowess and sporting spirit at the Zonal Basketball Tournament, conducted from 21 July to 1 August 2026. Lakshman Public School hosted the girls’ fixtures across the Sub-Junior, Junior, and Senior categories, while Government Sarvodaya Co-Ed Senior Secondary School, Begumpur, hosted the boys’ Junior and Senior matches.
Displaying remarkable agility, tactical discipline, and teamwork, both the Junior Girls’ and Senior Boys’ teams delivered standout performances, advancing to the Quarter Finals after a series of competitive encounters. Through the tournament, the players showed exceptional endurance, strategic coordination, and sportsmanship, upholding the institution's esteemed sporting ethos.
The tournament served as an invaluable platform for the young athletes, providing them with rich competitive exposure, bolstering match temperament, and refining their court strategies.
