The Zonal level science exhibition was held at Ishani S.K.V School, Saket on 31st August 2017. The theme of the exhibition was Innovations for Sustainable Development. Around 35 schools participated in the event.
The exhibition was adjudged in various categories such as health and well being, resource management and food security, waste management and water body conservation, transport and communication, digital and technological solution and mathematical modelling.
Our School participated in the categories of health and well being and digital and technological solution. For the latter Shrey Gogia of class X and Karandeep Singh of class XII presented a working model of the Air purifier which was an innovative and cost effective design compared to other purifiers.
Dhriti Chatterjee and Onkar Khurana of Class X participated in the category of health and well being and exhibited a mechanism of antibiotic resistance in a bacterial cell. The working model showed how an antibiotic acts on a cell and how resistance develops. They won the prize and got selected for the next round.
It was an enriching experience where students showcased their creativity and innovative design based on the themes. We wish the winners all the best in the next round.
