Citizenship Programme initiative Road Safety awareness drive

Following an advisory on Road Safety Week received from the DOE, we conducted an activity wherein students create awareness on road safety rules and regulations. Students made attractive posters that highlighted important rules such as conforming to speed limits, usage of the zebra crossing, not using mobiles while driving, wearing safety belts etc.

The students also held a rally on 19th May 2023 by the side of the BRT, holding up colourful posters for passers-by to notice and take note. Many parents attending the Recognition Day function at School appreciated the initiative. Students also appealed to parents at the gathering in the auditorium to rigorously follow all safety rules while on the road for their own safety and to set an example for their children.
