SPOT FIX by the Citizenship Programme at Hauz Khas Village

On 28th May 2016, the Citizenship Programme, in collaboration with the citizen- volunteers’ group, New Delhi Rising undertook a SPOT FIX at Hauz Khas Village. Our young volunteers this time were Saurish, Dhruv Saran, Vibhuti Gera, Bhamini Srivastava (Class 8) and Sidaqdeep (Class 9) accompanied by Tushar Sir.

Hauz Khas village is a hub for fashionable restaurants, bars, offices and commercial spaces. Due to the paucity of space combined with unfortunate tendency amongst the public to throw litter discriminately, were two spots where trash had piled up. We fixed these two spots with the help of the MCD team which lent a hand overseen by the MCD Councillor himself, Mr. Shailendra Singh.
