Annual Day Details 15 December, 2022

The countdown to Annual Day function has begun and there is much excitement and anticipation in the air! We appreciate and commend the cooperation extended by you all so far.Kindly lend your support as per the details below so that the show culminates as a resounding success.

 
  • TIMINGS
 

Please adhere to the following school timings for the participants, to enable the smooth functioning of the show.

13 December, Tuesday: 7:30 am- 1:30 pm for rehearsal

14 December, Wednesday: 4 pm- 7 pm for rehearsal

15 December, Thursday: 3 pm- 8 pm.

It will be a holiday for non-participants on the 14thand 15thDecember.

16thDecember will be a holiday for the entire School ( Nursery -XI).

  • DRESS
 

Students are to wear the school uniform on the two days of rehearsal and carry a tiffin, a fruit, a water bottle and the School almanac.

All bags, jackets and other belongings must be labelled.

Participants will be handed the costumes to take home.

On 15 Dec, participants are to come dressed in the costume for their respective events (tableaux and drama/ dances).

All participants should come to School wearing basic makeup: foundation, eyeliner, eye-shadow blush-on, lipstick. Hair should be styled as instructed, from home itself. The makeup will only be touched-up at School.

All participants should carry a comb, hairpins, bob-pins, safety pins, cotton balls, cleansing milk and a small make up kit.

All participants must shampoo their hair on the day of the show. The girls should style their hair in a single plait. Girls with short hair must wear a black hairband. Please do not accessorize the hair. Only black hair clips are allowed.

The boys should wear their hair in a short, neat haircut. Sikh boys should wear black patkas.

Do not send your ward in expensive jewellery or watches. School will not be responsible for any misplaced items.

Although the weather is quite pleasant, it does get hot inside the green rooms. The children should therefore NOT wear any woollen or warm inners.

 
  • REFRESHMENTS

The participants should have a light lunch before reaching the venue on the final day. Please ensure your ward carries a labelled water bottle and a light snack.

School will provide light refreshments to the participants on both days, ie.14 and 15 December.

Attendance on all the above three days for participants is compulsory.

 
  • PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEO RECORDING
 

Parents are requested not to click photographs as School has arranged an official photographer. Photos and DVDs will be available for the students post the function. The School will notify parents once these are ready.

 
  • CARS
 

Parents are requested to carpool and, if required, park your cars at Ansal Plaza on15 Decemberto ease parking problems.A feeder bus will ply from Ansal Plaza to School from 5 pmfor attending parents.

Parents are also requested to cooperate with the School guards for instructions regarding parking.

  • INVITE FOR ENTRY
 
Parents must carry the School invite to attend the annual day. It will be handed over to the participants shortly. Only 2 persons per card will be permitted to attend. For safety reasons, nobody will be permitted to enter without the physical invitation card.
  • OTHERS
 
  • Parents are requested not to approach the School staff during the show as this disrupts the proceedings.
  • Please keep your cell phones on switch off mode for the entire duration of the programme.
  • Your ward's effort deserves your undivided attention. With your cooperation alone can we make the function a success!
 
  • DISPERSAL PLAN
 
For the safety of the children, parentsare requested to be patient andfollow instructions for the dispersal of students on 15 December after the show.

Parents are requested to collect their wards from their appointed dispersal venues on 14 and 15 December (detailed below)

Students will assemble at their respective venues for dispersal after the grand finale.

Parents of classes I,2, 4 & 5 to collect their wards from the back gate, class 3 from the front gate and classes 6-11 from the bus gate. (please refer to the detailed dispersal plan)
