Parent Appreciation for Annual Day 2026: Migration- Journeys That Shape Us

Dear Ma'am,

The Annual Day of The Indian School, held on 11 October 2026, was truly a mesmerising experience. The theme of “Migration” was brought to life through a beautiful and deeply moving narrative that traced the journey of people, food, traditions and cultures across places and centuries.

The programme was a wonderful blend of education, music, colour and emotion. While the vibrant performances filled us with joy, the poignant depiction of displacement, the human quest for gold and, above all, the emotional portrayal of the Partition of India touched our hearts deeply. It was a powerful reminder of the human stories behind history and the experiences that shape our shared heritage.

Every child performed wonderfully, and it was a delight to witness their confidence, talent and enthusiasm. The scale, creativity and seamless execution of the entire programme were simply outstanding. One can only imagine the enormous effort, countless hours of preparation and collective dedication that must have gone into bringing such a magnificent production to the stage. My sincere appreciation to all the teachers, the school management and every member of the team who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event such a resounding success.

The school's philosophy of “Edutainment” was evident in every aspect of the programme. It was not merely an annual function; it was an enriching experience that educated, entertained, inspired and moved us in equal measure.

A special word of appreciation and gratitude for the Principal, Mrs. Tanya Joshi, whose leadership deserves particular recognition. Her ability to inspire and motivate, while remaining supportive of her teachers and staff, is truly admirable. Such a wonderful event reflects not only the talent of the children but also the vision, encouragement and collaborative spirit nurtured under her leadership.

Congratulations to The Indian School for creating an evening that will remain etched in our memories for a long time. As parents, we feel immensely proud and grateful to be part of a school that goes beyond academics to nurture creativity, empathy, cultural awareness and a deeper understanding of the world around us.

Heartfelt congratulations and a big thank you to everyone who made this unforgettable evening possible!

With warmest regards,
