Annual Recognition Day, Pre-school and Pre-primary

Like grains of sand

On a silvery beach

And stars so grand

Far out of reach

Theres lot to learn

Before we reap

And miles to go before we sleep

This is the spirit we instill and recognize in our children at our School. We teach them to aim for the stars and as they learn to find themselves, as it were.

In this spirit, the pre-primary department celebrated it's annual recognition day on 13 May, 2013 in the School Foundation Hall. There were 74 children from Pre-school and Pre-primary who were felicitated for their performance in various categories. The categories were Marked Improvement, Spoken English, Full Attendance, Neat Worker, Outstanding Performance, Active Participant and Good Helper.

Our guests for the day were Vice Chairperson Dr. Mrs. Nayana Goradia, Principal, Mrs. Rashi Narula, Vice Principal Mrs. Tania Joshi, Head Teacher, Mrs. Neena Maini and Vice President PTA, Mrs. Sangeeta Aswani.

As the parents settled down, Head Teacher Mrs. Vinita Roy welcomed them with a few words on the significance of the ceremony. The School choir followed with a soulful invocation, the Gayatri Mantra. Needless to say the parents eagerly awaited the special moment in their lives and in those of their little ones! And they didn't need to wait long.

Mrs. Narula congratulated the parents for giving their children an opportunity to succeed by giving them their encouragement and their time. Certificates of appreciation were also handed to the deserving choir who rendered rhythm to the recognition. No doubt the the morning was made bright, cheerful and lively by their melodious renderings. The programme concluded with the School song which was sung in vigour, as a chorus by all the winners of the occasion, namely teachers, guests and our parents.
