Our Pre-Primary department celebrated Childrens Day on 13 November,13. In fond reverence of Pandit Nehru, the children were introduced to Chacha Nehru with stories from his life and photographs of him and his parents, wife and daughter. They were especially told about his fondness for children and that this was the reason that his birthday is celebrated as Children's Day each year. The children listened quietly, seemingly assimilating all they heard and saw.
Then it was fun time and there were games, music and dancing! Also story-telling with props. The children were delighted to receive toffees on the occasion as also exciting prizes at their races.
