Class 3 visits the National Science Centre

On 11 May 2026, an educational visit to the National Science Centre was organised for 152 students of Class III. The excursion aimed to nurture curiosity, encourage observation, and develop an appreciation for science through experiential learning.

At the Centre, the students explored a variety of engaging galleries and exhibits, where they were fascinated by displays on "Water: The Elixir of Life", the wonders of the Indus Valley Civilisation, and interactive models explaining the Working of the Human Body. Each exhibit presented scientific concepts in an accessible manner, enabling the learners to connect classroom knowledge with everyday life.

One of the highlights of the visit was the Jungle Safari 3D Science Show, which offered a truly immersive experience. Wearing specially designed circularly polarised glasses, the students watched near-realistic visuals of animals that appeared to leap out from the screen, leaving them wonder struck and delighted! The Fun Science Gallery also proved to be a major attraction for the young learners. The group enthusiastically engaged in hands'-on experiments, scientific puzzles, and fascinating mirror illusions, transforming the learning process into an enjoyable adventure.

The visit concluded with interactive discussions and reflections, during which the students shared their observations and favourite experiences. The excursion proved to be both educational and enriching, deepening their understanding of science while fostering a spirit of inquiry and discovery. The trip to the National Science Centre was a memorable and inspiring learning experience for all participants.
