Class 6 attends Workshop on the Human Body
On 9 April 2026, 38 students of class 6, accompanied by 2 teachers, participated in an enriching and highly interactive workshop titled “Journey Through the Human Body” at the National Science Centre.
The session was conducted by research students at the National Science Centre, who made the learning experience engaging, informative, and enjoyable through a variety of hands'-on and participatory activities.
One of the key highlights of the workshop was the interactive “Surprise Box” activity, where the students explored models of human body parts. This activity generated curiosity and excitement, allowing students to learn about the structure and functions of the various organs in a fun and memorable way.
The workshop also included quizzing sessions, where students actively participated and tested their understanding of the human body. These quizzes encouraged critical thinking and reinforced the concepts learned during the session.
Additionally, the students engaged in hands'-on activities, such as crafting a simple working model of the lungs using basic materials. This helped them visually understand the process of breathing and the functioning of the respiratory system.
An informative show on the human body further enhanced their understanding by presenting complex concepts in an easy and visually appealing manner.
Overall, the workshop was a highly engaging, educational, and enjoyable experience. It successfully sparked curiosity among students and deepened their understanding of the human body through interactive and experiential learning.
