Design Sprint Challenge
Design Sprint Challenge, a Hackathon event was organised by IncubatINDX and aimed at encouraging students of classes 9-12 to think innovatively to solve real life problems. The initiative also aimed to ignite the spirit of entrepreneurship amongst students at a early age. The 3 challenges included-
- Opening schools post this pandemic in a socially-distanced
- Ways for spotting fake news easily
- How robots can help children with special needs
We interacted with new age technology- mentors which include Himadri Jain(Co-founder Wibe.in), Girish Vengassery(Senior Engineering Manager Here Technologies), Siddhant Aggarwal(Program Coordinator Google), Anant Mendiretta(Product Manager Indiatimes Lifestyle Networks) and Sachin Kumar(Founder Bottle Openers, a digital company). These interactions were held between 7 and 10 June and on 11 June we submitted our proposals for feedback from our mentors followed by a brainstorming on the following day.
Based on the feedback received, we improvised upon our ideas and submitted our final ideas on 13 June. We received the results on 16th June and I was named Third in the event. I received a digital certificate and prize money of 1000!
