Honours at inter school IT event

The Bluebells School International organised VIRUS 2021, an online inter-school IT event, from 5 to10 September 2021. The event was an opportunity for students to revolutionise technology through their innovative ideas. The theme this year was Time Lapse.

The event was divided into the following competitions:

Br(AI)nstorming - AI is a revolutionary discipline that involves cognitive functions like learning, problem-solving, reasoning, etc. Participants were required to present an idea that echoes brilliance and an urge to make the world a better place to live.

50 teams from different schools of Delhi and NCR participated in this event. The top 8 schools qualified for the final round. In this category, Ekveer Sahoo and Sejal Gupta of Class X presented a model-"Project Elbout" followed by a virtual debate.

Project Elbout is an autoregressive language model that uses deep learning to produce text similar to humans. It generates text using algorithms that are pre-trained. Data from websites like CommonCrawl, Wikipedia has been used. The Indianite team bagged the Third Position in this category.

Ad.www.ertise - Gaming is no longer considered a solitary pastime for children. Today many passionate gamers have successfully engaged themselves in gaming professionally.

Krunal Patel and Aarush Mahajan of Class IX participated in the Brawlhalla and Paladins' gaming event. 12 teams from different schools participated in this free-to-play 2D platformer fighting game; the goal was to knock one's opponent off the stage.

It was an enriching experience where the students learned about upcoming technologies. They were delighted at the opportunity to showcase their skills on a popular inter school platform
